President & CEO of the 40 year-old Washington, DC based firm, originally established in 1965 as Bryant & Bryant Architects & Planners, Inc. Prior to assuming the presidency of BM, PLLC, he was owner-principal of Melvin Mitchell Architects (originally established in 1972). He is a former architecture professor at Howard University, former Director of the School of Architecture & Planning at Morgan State University, and was past president of the DC Board of Architecture. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, The Crisis of the African American Architect, ISBN 0595243266.

Chuck Bryant joined his father, Charles Irving Bryant, Sr., in the Bryant & Bryant firm upon completion of his architectural training at Virginia Tech in 1986. Over the course of his 20 year tenure with the firm, he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions ranging from CAD operator to project manager on a number of the firm's most important projects.

Before becoming a partner in Bryant Mitchell, PLLC in 2005, Alton Green spent 18 years as a practicing architect heading his own firm, The ArcVantage Group. Before establishing ArcVantage he spent 12 years serving as designer and senior project manager for a number of prominent architectural firms in Washington, DC and Chicago. His main areas of project experience include educational facilities, multi-family housing and religious facilities.
